The Your Building Site uses many different ways of organising information - you can choose the ones that work best for you.
On the right hand side of each page you can see a list of category links, related to categories of information and roles in development. You can select the category or role that is most applicable to your needs.
Your Library
A key feature of Your Building is Your Library, which you may access after Logging In. In Your Library you can save information you are most interested in, and come back to it later. You can label the content in ways most relevant to you. By doing this you can help contribute to the site.
The Bookmark feature allows you to save articles on the site in a way that can be accessed from any computer you log in with - whether at work, at home or on the road.
You can also store links to pages on other sites to help you - and others viewing your profile - access other relevant material.
Your Profile
Your Profile can be created using the "Settings" link at the top right of each page. By creating a profile, you can let other users of the site see your skills and interests and your knowledge of sustainability issues.
The Settings Page
In "Settings", which is available when you are logged in, you can edit your profile, provide a picture of yourself, and edit drafts of comments or articles you have created. You can also elect to receive a daily feed of changes to the site, see how many articles or comments you have contributed, and change the default page you see when you log in.
