GBCA announces governance changes

The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) will see nine governance changes, a change of Chair and the retirement of two Board members.

The GBCA had nine governance changes unanimously approved at an Extraordinary General Meeting last week.

The changes include length of board tenure, election and rotation of directors.

Daniel Grollo has agreed to take on role of Chair, subject to election at a Board Meeting following the GBCA’s November Annual General Meeting.

Current Chair, Tony Arnel, has held the position for five years.

Board Directors Michael Barnes (ISIS Group Australia CEO) and Robert Coombs (InterfaceFLOR Asia Pacific CEO) also announced their retirement.
