ASBEC: Energy and Carbon Profile of Buildings

In 2007, the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC) commissioned the Centre for International Economics to prepare a report on energy efficiency opportunities within the built environnment.

ASBEC released the results of CIE's research, the Second Plank: Building a Low Carbon Economy with Energy Efficient Buildings, in 2008.

The key statistics canvassed in the report are currently being reviewed in line with more recent government modelling data.
